The French Open Tennis Tournament

The French Open (Roland Garros), is a major tennis tournament held in the late spring and early summer in Paris each year. This year, the French Open tennis begins on May 26th and ends on the 9th of June 2024.

The tournament is named after the French aviation pioneer Roland Garros and is the only one of the four major open tournaments played on a clay surface.
