Things to do in the Black Forest
The Black Forest region is the perfect destination for people who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors. Located in south-west Germany, this magical location is well known for its dense, evergreen forests and picturesque villages associated with the Grimm fairy tales.
With plenty of walking and cycling routes to choose from, the Black Forest is a wonderland for those looking for an active holiday, whereas anyone hoping to relax will be pleased to find a number of spas and chilled out vineyards to enjoy.
The Black Forest is a 6 and a half hour drive from our ports in Calais, Rotterdam, and Zeebrugge, and no matter where you start from you’ll find plenty of great places to stop for breaks along the way. Remember, you can bring as much luggage as you link when you travel with us, and this includes all of the cycling and hiking gear you need to explore the Black Forest for yourselves.
