How does the Sleep Lounge work?

The Sleep Lounge is an exclusive area reserved for guests who have booked a Sleep Recliner. Access is restricted to Sleep Lounge customers and controlled via a secure digital entry code, helping to create a comfortable environment for those looking to rest during their crossing. The lounge is currently available to adult passengers only and includes access to dedicated facilities designed to make your journey more convenient.

Each guest has access to an individual locker for personal belongings, while larger suitcases and luggage can be securely stored by onboard staff and collected before disembarkation. Sleep Recliner seats are allocated at check-in, and our team will do their best to accommodate requests wherever possible, including seating travel companions and groups together.

1 What is the P&O Ferries Sleep Lounge?
The P&O Ferries Sleep Lounge is a dedicated onboard space designed for overnight travel between Hull and Rotterdam. Featuring comfortable recliner seats, secure access for Sleep Lounge guests, and convenient onboard facilities, it offers a relaxing place to rest during your crossing. For adults only our new Sleep Lounge offers a new way to travel across the North Sea. 
2 What is included in the Sleep Lounge?
A Sleep Lounge booking includes your ferry crossing and an allocated recliner seat. Guests can enjoy access to USB charging points, onboard Wi-Fi, an adjustable reading light, individual lockers for personal belongings, and a blanket for use during the journey. A vending machine is also available nearby for travel essentials.
3 Can you book a seat in the Sleep Lounge?
Yes. Sleep Lounge seats can be booked as part of your ferry reservation. Seats are allocated by staff at check-in, and every booking includes a reserved Sleep Recliner seat for the crossing.
4 Can you upgrade to a cabin from the Sleep Lounge?
Yes. Cabin upgrades may be available, subject to availability and an additional charge. You can upgrade your booking online before departure or enquire onboard at Reception.
5 Where can luggage be stored in the Sleep Lounge?
Personal belongings can be stored in the individual lockers available within the Sleep Lounge. Larger suitcases and luggage can be securely stored by onboard staff and collected before disembarkation.
6 Can you bring food and drink into the Sleep Lounge?
To help maintain a comfortable environment for all guests, only bottled water is permitted in the Sleep Lounge. Food and other drinks should be enjoyed in the designated onboard restaurants, bars, and seating areas.
